After powering on Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2 and performing the initial system configuration, the environment is ready for virtual machine deployment. Refer to the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2 Administrator's Guide for information about working with an operational environment:
Refer to the section Update in the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2 Administrator's Guide for instructions to update the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance controller software.
After initial power-on, downloading and updating the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance software is mandatory. Compute node provisioning is locked as long as the update has not been completed successfully.
