New Features for Oracle BI Applications System Administrators

Oracle BI Applications can optionally leverage Oracle Endeca Information Discovery. Oracle Endeca Information Discovery is an enterprise discovery platform for the analysis of information from both structured and unstructured sources, providing the ability to visualize data in many different ways, including tag clouds.

Oracle BI Applications integration of Oracle Endeca Information Discovery leverages its ability to analyze unstructured data. Oracle Endeca Information Discovery includes ODI maps that can be run to load Endeca applications, covers more than 100 Oracle BI Application subject areas, and grants some Oracle BI Applications access to unstructured text fields from source systems, which enables users to examine their structured BI data in new ways.
