This ReadMe accompanies the following Oracle products for Oracle Solaris SPARC, IBM AIX, Microsoft Windows, and Linux x86 operating systems.

Documaker Document Factory: A workflow-enabled, database-centric solution for electronic document automation that utilizes core Documaker functionality to provide a managed publishing system. It includes two web-based and thin-client applications: Documaker Administrator and Documaker Dashboard that provide system control and insight.
Documaker Interactive: A web-based application that enables users to quickly and interactively create and assemble consistently branded and compliant correspondence leveraging accelerators as pre-configured workflow with role based approvals and pre-built industry content.

This release of Oracle Documaker is for multiple platforms.

This release of Oracle Documaker Enterprise Edition includes Documaker WipEdit in the [download] for deployment on the ODEE Web Server as outlined in the Documaker Enterprise Administrative Guide.

This release is a cumulative release which includes enhancements and patches released in prior versions; please refer to the release notes and readmes for 12.2 and prior versions for additional items previously addressed. Note:

The Australian Barcode feature is not available for the Z/OS platform.

16018381 This patch updates the Oracle Documaker Studio User Guide to include information on setting up and deploying a resource library into tables on DB2 ZOS.

16814815 This patch expands the current origin logic to support setting a section relative to the bottom of the page. It also provides support for a “must fit” option; if the section cannot fit on the page, it will not be printed.

16886238 This patch corrects possible issue with triggering section in case both Search Mask(true/false) and Search Mask(counter)are used.

16621296 This patch adds support for generating and printing Australia post bar code.

17334042 This patch fixes the issue where page size is taken into consideration when PDF bursting is performed instead of creating all pages with the default page size.

Documaker Factory

17334160 This patch adds an index to the TRNSLOG table to improve performance of Documaker Interactive.

16998262 This patch enables the Active flag for Printers defined in ODEE to be recognized by the system. Without this, content may incorrectly have been sent to an inactive printer.

16861416 This patch enables the OBP_POST destination to have access to all user attributes defined in the form metadata for use when creating the print control file.

17163819 This patch fixes the issue where the Batch's Sort Order was broken, and would generate a malformed SQL exception in the NotifyPresenterScheduledWorker log of the Scheduler.

18040013 This patch creates a new client proxy for secured WEBService URL which will support the SAML security policy. Users can also enable and disable the security option as desired.

17694940 This PCR enables DAL scripts called during Presenter processing in Document Factory to access not only the current record's GVM values for the TRNS, RCPS, BCHS records but also the GVM values for the next recipient's TRNS, RCPS, and BCH records. This capability will allow for DAL logic to "split" a batch/print stream to look ahead at the next RCPS values stored in the GVMS, (RCPS columns) and determine if a the batch should be split accordingly.

17790244 This patch corrects a Document Factory processing error that can occur after a print error that results in the creation of PUBS table row with an empty PUBOUTBLOB. Subsequent batches may fail with the SQL error ORA-22275: Invalid LOB locator.

16782369 This patch fixes a problem where Paragraph names in a selection list were limited to 40 characters. The new name length is the same as the library name length, currently 100 characters.

Documaker Dashboard, Interactive, Administrator

BugDB# Description

16581195 In this patch resources will be retrieved from the library when using RunDate. Previously, the system would pull resources based on the current date.

16702200 This patch updates the WIP Edit plug-in to ensure the correct version and revision of a resource was being retrieved for a document in WIP/TRNS.

16792427 This patch now enables the query by example calendar selection for date fields displayed to the user in Documaker Interactive.

16743487 This patch corrects a problem that can occur when selecting to preview a document from within the WIP Edit plug-in. In some cases, the Document ID shown within the Preview did not match the actual Document ID.

17967171 This patch corrects the issue where editing a document with missing required fields in Documaker Interactive the Route Description was not cleared even when the user enters all required fields. Adding this setting will enable a check to clear the route description upon Save when all fields are populated. This behavior requires setting this option in the wipedit.ini. ClearRouteDescOnComplete
