Customer comments

Endeavour Foundation have completely changed their approach to managing PeopleSoft, from applying fixes and legislative changes only to adopting new functionality as it’s released. They are also working back through previously released features that were not reviewed and deployed at the time to ensure as much delivered functionality is used as meets business requirements.

They have gone live with HCM Image 27 on Nov 26, 2018 with new functionality across Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service and core users including the Fluid Timesheet with Quick-Fill, Employee Snapshot, the team talent profile, Time & Labor auto enrolment, PI search, the latest company directory features, and Fluid Global Payroll banking, amongst others. They also dropped customizations and reverted to delivered functionality wherever new enhancements had been released.

It's great to see customers change from just 'keeping the lights on' to being PeopleSoft advocates and using the system functionality to continuously improve employee experience and satisfaction. Endeavour Foundation has completely changed their mindset and the key teams are driving this change across the business and showing them how to be leaders in technology and change.

The turnaround in approach to management of PeopleSoft is a great story for other customers who have been sitting in ‘maintain only’ mode for a long period of time and not moved their system to current functionality. Just 12 months ago Endeavour Foundation’s system looked old and outdated, now they are current and modern and putting in a selective adoption approach to continue to bring in new features as they are released.

Cloud

Endeavour Foundation (with their partner Presence of IT) moved to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for hosting their PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 instance (Production and Non-production workloads) on the 19th August, 2019.

The transition in time frame to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure was rapid (16 weeks -) and it required 2 FTEs working on 1 day per week and then for SIT, Parallel and UAT 1.5 FTEs per week for the duration of testing from Endeavour Foundation to support this transition.

In doing so, Endeavour Foundation achieved 20% cost savings with hosting.
