Hennepin County, MN implemented a unified Fluid user interface across PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Enterprise Learning Management, and Financials and Supply Chain Management, with more than 15 Homepages, 100 Tiles, and dozens of navigation collections, supported by videos to highlight navigation and personalization options, resulting in an incredibly easy end user adoption process.
Hennepin County has implemented Fluid with our Tools 8.55 project during October 2017. In a 5 month timeframe, we took our old portal-- mostly focused on HCM and ELM users, and redesigned to take advantage of the unified portal for HCM, ELM and FSCM. We now have 1 entry point into our system, where we developed over 15 homepages, over 100 tiles, and dozens of navigation collections to provide easy access to our PeopleSoft system. We have over 8500 users (over 1100 of those are FSCM users) and we went live this past October with very few issues logged. We created a video for our users on how to navigate in the new world. In addition we created a video to show how to personalize their homepage. We are government...change is not easy...but this acceptance was incredibly easy!
Our users can now access our system in a manner that is easy, intuitive, and more efficient. This lays the groundwork for our next image updates where we can continuously improve the user experience.
