A IDL Changes and Enhancements

This appendix describes the differences between the IDL that supports ASOG 49 and the previous release of the ASR API IDL.

MetaSolv Solution APIs Impacted by IDL Changes and Enhancements

The only IDL changes and enhancements made for ASOG 49 involve the ASR API.

These ASR API IDL files were not changed for ASOG 49:

• WDI.IDL

• WDIUTIL.IDL

• WDICABS.IDL

• WDICABSTYPES.IDL

These files were added for ASOG 49:

• WDIASRTYPES49.IDL

• WDIASR49.IDL

New IDL Files

There are two new IDL files for the ASR API for ASOG 49, WDIASRTYPES49.IDL and WDIASR49.IDL. These files define all IDL elements of scope MetaSolv::CORBA::ASRTypes49. No IDL elements of other scopes are defined in this file. The WDIASRTYPES49.IDL is based on WDIASRTYPES48.IDL from the previous release.

Removed statement to include WDIASRTYPES48.IDL.

Added statement to include WDIASRTYPES49.IDL.

New/Revised Data Structures

This section provides information about the ASR IDL data structures that have been added/revised to support ASOG 49.
