Remove the SCC PROM
The SCC PROM is a cold-service component that can be replaced only by authorized service personnel. To identify and locate the SCC PROM, see Processor Module Components.
Before beginning this procedure, ensure that you are familiar with the cautions and safety instructions described in Safety Information.

- Remove the main module from the server.

Take the necessary ESD precautions.
See Prevent ESD Damage.
- Locate the SCC PROM on the main module.

Grasp the SCC PROM and lift it up to remove it from the main module.
