Before you install the Oracle FS Path Manager (FSPM) software, ensure that your network and Oracle FS System or Pillar Axiom system meet the installation requirements.
To function fully and correctly,
FSPM requires a network connection to the
Pilot management controller and installation of one or more of the following:
- Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA) or Converged Network Adapter (CNA) cards and drivers.
- For a hardware iSCSI installation, iSCSI HBAs, and the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator.
- For a software iSCSI installation, network interface cards (NICs), and the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator.
