This document describes the enhancements and fixed issues in Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution Access Service Request (ASR) 50.
See ASR Installation Guide for instructions about installing ASR 50.
The ASR50BD.sql file is included in this release. The installer provides all upgrades to the MetaSolv software executable files and stored procedure files (Procs directory).
MetaSolv Solution 6.2.x supports ASR 50 on the following software versions:
Oracle Linux Server release 5.5 (Carthage)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5
Oracle Solaris 10 update 5/08 or higher (on a SPARC machine)
AIX 6.1 or higher (on a POWER6 machine)
HP-UX 11.23 or higher (on an Itanium machine. 32-bit and 64-bit JAVA supported)
Windows Server 2008 R2
Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.1
Oracle Database 11g R2
JacORB 2.3.1
This section describes new enhancements in ASR 50.
Treeview Location: Preferences - Service Request - Access Service Request
A new system preference, Validate OBF Rules in API for ASOG 50 and above based on active Guideline Rules, has been added that has the following options:
Y (the default): When importing ASR orders of version 50 or later, the order information is validated against the active OBF usage rules in API.
N: When importing ASR orders of version 50 or later, the order information is not validated against the OBF usage rules in API.
