This image is a block diagram representation of a disconnected mode deployment. The image shows the four tiers of the architecture with the sites external to Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center on top. In the first row contains two blocks placed horizontally, Oracle Knowledge Base and Vendor Sites respectively. The second row contains the Portable Media block. Data flows from the Oracle Knowledge Base and Vendor Sites to the Portable Media. The third row consists of an Enterprise Controller block which is placed below Portable Media block. This Enterprise Controller block is connected to a customer managed database to it’s left. To the right of Enterprise Controller block, you have Oracle Solaris 11 Package Repository block. Data flows from the Portable Media and Oracle Solaris 11 Package Repository to the Enterprise Controller. The fourth row contains the Proxy Controller block which is placed below the Enterprise Controller block. Data flows in both directions between the Enterprise Controller and the Proxy Controller. To the left of Proxy Controller block, you have Agentless-Managed Assets block and to the right of Proxy Controller block you have Agent-Managed Assets block. Data flows in both directions between the Proxy Controller to the Agentless-Managed Assets and to the Agent-Managed Assets.
