Configuring a Drill Across Between GL Balance Sheet Dimensions in Oracle Fusion Applications and E-Business Suite

If Fusion Applications and E-Business Suite coexist in your environment, you can implement a drill across between the GL Balance Sheet dimensions in the two sources.

Ignore this topic if you Oracle Fusion Applications and E-Business Suite don’t coexist in your environment.

To configure a drill across:

  1. Create a GL Balance request for your E-Business Suite instance by using the Financials - GL Balance Sheet subject area.
  2. In your request, add a filter on the Source ID column under the Ledger folder, and then set the operator of the filter to 'Is equal to / is in'. Set the value to the data source number of your E-Business Suite instance.
  3. Add a filter on the Target Fiscal Period ID column for the Time folder, on Target Ledger ID under the Ledger folder, and on Target GL Account ID under the GL Account folder, and then set the operator of the filter to 'Is Prompted'.
  4. Repeat the previous three steps to create a GL Balance request for your Oracle Fusion Applications instance. When setting the Source ID-based filter, ensure that you set the value of the filter to the data source number for your Oracle Fusion Applications instance.
  5. In the Oracle Fusion Applications GL Balance request, navigate to the Column Properties of the columns that you added, and set the Primary Interaction property in the Interaction tab to 'Action Links'.
  6. Add a navigation target, and set the target location to the GL Balance request that you created for E-Business Suite.
