If you attempt to import a template for a virtual machine from an incorrect URL located on an HTTPS server that has an SSL certificate that cannot be verified, an incorrect error message is returned indicating that the certificate could not be verified instead of the fact that the file could not be found.

If you receive an error indicating that the certificate could not be verified, check that the file that you are attempting to import is accessible at the URL that you provided.
