OFS Enterprise Financial Performance Analytics is a part of the OFS Profitability Application Pack.

Description

Bug 29958010 – OFS Enterprise Financial Performance Analytics - Language Translation for Spanish-Spain (ES_ES).

Functional/ Technical Fix Applied

This one-off patch will apply the Language Pack translation for Spanish Language.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites required for this release are:

1.        Oracle Financial Services Profitability (PFT) Application Pack 8.0.7.2.0

2.       Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Financial Performance Analytics (EFPA) 8.0.7.2.1

3.       AAI LP 8.0..0.0 (Patch number 29646990)

4.       AAI Patch 8.0.7.2.0 (Patch number 29920053)

How to Install this Language Pack Release?

1.        Login to https://support.oracle.com/, and search for the Bug# 29958010 under the Patches and Updates tab.

2.       Download 29958010_GENERIC.zip archive file, and copy it to your OFSAA server in binary mode.

3.       Extract the contents of the patch archive file by using the command:

unzip -a 29958010_GENERIC.zip

This command will create a folder named OFS_PFT.

Note: In case of a multi-tier installation of OFSAAI, the patch needs to be executed on the DB tier.

4.       Navigate to ./PFT_PFT/conf and update the params.conf file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0.

5.       Provide RWX permissions to the shell script ./OFS_PFT/bin/install.sh.

6.       Execute install.sh

7.       Check the log file OFS_PFT_patch_installation.log at the location ./PFS_PFT/logs in the patch to see if it has been applied successfully.

Catalog Configuration for Language Pack - OBIEE

1.        Navigate to the path ./OFS_PFT/bin/patchfiles/CaptionsXML and copy the bspcaptions.xml, financial+reportingcaptions.xml, and management+reportingcaptions.xml files.

2.       Navigate to the OBIEE folder at $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/bi/bidata/service_instances/ssi/metadata/content/msgdb.

3.         Create a folder structure named /l_es/captions.

4.       Paste the files bspcaptions.xml, financial+reportingcaptions.xml, and management+reportingcaptions.xml corresponding to the Spanish Language in the captions folder.

5.       Restart the OBIEE servers and login to Analytics by selecting the language as Spanish.

6.       Verify that the captions are translated in the Dashboard Reports.

Limitations and Known Issues

The known issues/ limitations in this release are as follows:
