Using REST URLs with Oracle Storage Cloud Service
Accounts, containers, and objects in an Oracle Storage Cloud Service instance are represented as REST resources and are accessible through HTTP uniform resource locators (URLs).
The following is the format of your Oracle Storage Cloud Service instance's REST API endpoint:
data-center-code is the identifier of the data center which your service instance has been provisioned to
service-instance-name is the name of your service instance, defined at service activation time
identity-domain-name is the name of the identity domain which your service instance was provisioned into
For example, assuming the following values:
The service instance's REST API endpoint would be:

A service instance's REST API endpoint is also the account resource.
Containers are resources within an account. Given the example REST API endpoint above, a container named
mycontainer4 would have the following URL:
Objects are resources with a container. Given the example REST API endpoint above, an object named
myobject5 would have the following URL:
