Google+ on AMP

The Involver Audience Management Platform is an easy-to-use social marketing platform to publish, monitor and analyze your audience across social networks.

Now, AMP also allows users to publish on Google+ apart from multiple accounts on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter simultaneously.

Watch a quick demo of our Google+ experience on AMP below:

Here is a quick review of the new features for Google+ on AMP:

Settings

First, Add a Google+ Account

To do so, click on “Settings”, which will take you to the “Outlets “ section. Next, click “Google+ Page”:
This will take you to a page where you can choose which any of your Google+ accounts you wish to add:
Note: you will need to be logged into the Google account that is the owner of the Google+ page(s).  If you are not already, click “authorize” in the top right.

Circles Management

Once the Google+ account selected, you can see a list of all Google+ pages added to that AMP account on the left.  To manage your Google+ circles, click on one of the page names:

Create New Circles

To create a new circle, click on the orange “Add Circle” button at the bottom of the right frame and a new input will display. After typing in your new circle name, just click on the blue “Add Circle” button to confirm.

The new circle will then be included in the list of circles:

Remove an existing circle

To remove an existing Google+ Circle, click on the circle you want to remove. A new prompt will appear showing all the followers in the Circle. Click on the blue “Remove Circle” button at the top right side of the prompt:
After clicking on the button. The Circle will be removed from your Google+ Page and will not appear any more. Note that removing a Circle doesn’t mean you are removing the users as followers of your page. Those users will still be part of your audience and hence, will appear on “All Followers” circle and any other circles they are a part of.

Add current followers to your Circles

Select the “All followers” link above the list of circles to find a full list of users who are following your Google+ page.
To add a user to more circles, first click on their name.  A new prompt will appear showing all the circles the specific user is part of. To add that user to different circles, click on “Add to circle” next to that circle:

Remove current followers from your Circles

To remove an existing follower from a specific Google+ Circle, click on the name of the Circle, and then on the small “X” placed at the right side of each member of the circle:
Note that removing a Circle doesn’t mean you are removing the users as followers of your page. Those users will still be part of your audience and hence, will appear on “All Followers” circle and any other circles they are a part of.

Publishing

Use AMP to manage any number of Google+ pages from one interface and publish to all your social networks simultaneously. Navigate to the “Publish” tab to compose a new message:
By the default, the message will be published publically, to all followers. If you want to segment to a specific Google+ Circle(s), click on the “Advanced” tab at the top right side of the screen.  Here you will see a dropdown list underneath the text box where you can select the Google+ circles to share with:
After you select a circle, you may return to the dropdown to select another and repeat this as many times as necessary.  If you accidently select a circle you do not want to be included, just click “remove” next to it.

You can also save drafts, schedule posts for later publication, and see a history of your past publications. To see your publishing history, navigate to the last sub-tab under the “Publishing” section:

Automated Republishing

As with all outlets and sources in the Audience Management Platform, you are able to setup automated republishing from Facebook, Twitter, or an RSS feed to your Google+ pages.

To do so, navigate to the “Settings” section and select “Sources”.  Navigate to whichever source you want automatically republished to Google+, and click on its name.   From here, navigate to the “set republish settings” section, and click on the drop-down.  The list of outlets here are all the pages in your AMP account that have been authenticated to publish to – including your Google+ pages added as an outlet.
Make sure the box marked “Publish new content automatically?” is checked, and then select “save”.  Repeat as necessary, and don’t worry – your inputs will be preserved when you click a new item from the dropdown list.

With this feature, you have the ability to have all your posts from Facebook or your tweets from Twitter automatically posted directly onto your Google+ Page, so you don’t have to worry about it!

Analytics

Measuring success is critical, and Google+ is no different.

AMP tracks followers, comments, and re-shares across all your Google+ properties so you can drill down to see what generates results.

You can filter data by total and daily change, export to 3rd-party analytics platform and share it with colleagues:
