This illustration shows the message conversion process, which occurs in
two stages. First, a message is converted from the native format of the
source queue to the gateway internal message format. Second, the message
is converted from the internal message format to the native format of the
destination queue. The figure shows an AQ message, which consists of an
AQ property and an AQ payload. After the first stage of conversion, the
figure shows the Messaging Gateway message, which consists of an AQ property
and a canonical type. After the second stage, the figure shows the non-Oracle
message, which consists of a message only. The figures shows bidirectional
arrows for inbound and outbound propagation between the AQ message and
the Messaging Gateway message, and between the Messaging Gateway message
and the non-Oracle message
