Release 5.0.2 Part No. B10111-01 |

Users who are granted Administrator access privileges should not connect to the Mobile Server through a proxy server. The Mobile Server will not be able to see the IP addresses of their client machines and, therefore, will not be able to allow them Administrator-level access.
Users who have Administrator access and usually connect to the network through a proxy server must bypass the proxy server before connecting to the Mobile Server.
To configuring the client machine to bypass a proxy server, follow these steps:
In Internet Explorer, from the Tools dropdown menu, select Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog box appears.
Select the Connections tab. The Connections panel appears, as illustrated in Figure F-1.

Click the LAN Settings button in the Connections panel. The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box appears, as illustrated in Figure F-2.

Select the "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" check box.
Click the Advanced button. The Proxy Settings dialog box appears, as shown in Figure F-3.
