1 Certification and System Requirements

2 General Issues and Workarounds

This section describes general issues and their workarounds for Oracle CorporateTime 6.0.3 for Windows.

2.1 In-tray on startup

If you have decided to have your In-tray closed on startup, the New Entry icon will not appear when you have new entries. Suggested workaround: Select Refresh All from the View menu.

2.2 Agenda preferences

If you modify your agenda preferences while you are on-line, the Display Hours and Start Week preferences will not be saved when you go off-line

2.3 Different Local Storage

If a user logs out while working off-line and a second user logs in, decides to work off-line and selects Cancel on the Different Local Storage dialog box, Oracle CorporateTime 6.0.3 for Windows will close. Suggested workaround: Do not click Cancel in the Different Local Storage dialog box, but select a location for your off-line Agenda instead.

2.4 Reminders

If you set your Meeting default Reminders to 15 minutes and your Daily Note and Day Event Reminders are off, and another user invites you to a Daily Note or Day Event, the 15-minute Reminder will be enabled for that Daily Note or Day Event.

2.5 Resources' designate rights

An error will occur if you create a resource and attempt to use your designate rights to change the attendance status from Will confirm later to Will attend or Will not attend.

2.6 Conflict checking

Conflict checking is no longer done automatically. If you would like to check for conflicts when you create a repeating Meeting, you must click the Check Conflicts button.

3 Configuration Issues and Workarounds

This section describes configuration issues and their workarounds for Oracle CorporateTime 6.0.3 for Windows.

3.1 Installation

In certain cases, you may not be able to install Oracle CorporateTime 6.0.3 for Windows on a machine using Windows 2000.

3.2 On-line and off-line time zones

If you change from one time zone to another and then switch to off-line mode, your on-line and off-line time zones will not be synchronized.

3.3 Connection Editor's server field

The server field in the Connection Editor has a 64-character limit.

3.4 Virtual host sign-in

Virtual host sign-in is not supported.

3.5 Synchronizing with CorporateSync 2.x or lower

When running CorporateSync 2.x or lower with this product, it will be unable to synchronize with your off-line Agenda or your Address Book. Suggested workaround: Upgrade to a later version of CorporateSync.

3.6 Synchronizing on-line and off-line Agendas

If you delete your off-line files and then synchronize your on-line and off-line Agendas, the Personal tab and Custom date field will not be updated. An Oracle Calendar server 5.5 is required for this information to be updated during synchronization.

3.7 Rebooting after installation

After installing Oracle CorporateTime 6.0.3 for Windows for the first time, you may be prompted to reboot your machine. This should be done right away, if possible.
