An inbound principal mapping maps an inbound Enterprise Information System (EIS) principal — that is, a user or group — from an EIS security domain to a WebLogic principal defined in the WebLogic domain. If security context mapping is required in a resource adapter, a mapped inbound principal establishes the identity used in the security context for a Work instance submitted to WebLogic Server by the resource adapter.
