A Cleaning BAM Data Objects and Projects

After completing T2P for Business Activity Monitoring in a new target environment, you must perform the cleanup actions listed in this section for smooth functioning of Oracle Real-Time Integration Business Insight. This cleanup ensures that model activation can be done without any issues following the cleanup.

To clean-up data objects and projects:

  1. Login to Oracle Business Activity Monitoring Composer.
  2. Open the project for an Insight model. The display name of the Project will be similar to Insight<Model Name>.
  3. Delete this project.
  4. Click the Administrator tab.
  5. Expand the data objects tree to the node Data Objects -> oracle -> insight -> <Model Node Name>.
    You can see that the <Model Node Name> is in lower case and does not contain any whitespaces.
  6. Delete this node. Be careful while selecting the node for the model.

    WARNING:

    Do not delete the nodes for any other model or the internal node.
