Here's how you can create an OTBI Analysis to fetch TOPN/BOTTOMN records.

Create an OTBI Analysis to Fetch TOPN/BOTTOMN Records

  1. Start in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence

  2. Click Create and choose Analysis to create a new analysis.

  3. In Select Subject Area, choose Workforce Management - Worker Assignment Real Time.

  4. Expand the subject area and select the columns:
    1. Expand Business Unit.

    2. Choose Business Unit Name.

    3. Expand Worker Assignment.

    4. Choose Head Count. Add columns to the report.

  5. In the Head Count column, click the Setup icon.

  6. Click Filter. In the New Filter dialog:

    1. For the Operator, choose is in top..

    2. For the Value, choose 5.

    3. Click OK. Add a filter to the Head Count column.

  7. Click the Results tab. This shows the top 5 business units and their respective headcounts.

  8. Click the Criteria Tab. Similarly, you could also find the ones that are in the bottom 5.

  9. Click the Edit Filter icon.

  10. Change is in the top to is in the bottom.

  11. Click OK. Return to Results tab.

  12. Click Table Properties. In this case, there are more than 5 results because multiple business units have the same head count.

  13. Click Content Paging.
