Redwood Experience for Permit Application Details

The Permit Application Detail pages have been enhanced using Visual Builder Studio (VBS) technology. The new interface streamlines the user experience and enhances the usability of the pages.

This option is available only for permits, and the following pages are featured in the Redwood Experience for each submitted permit application:

  • Overview
  • Application Details
  • Property Information
  • Linked Permits
  • Conditions
  • Related Transactions
  • Fees and Payments
  • Workflow
  • Status History
  • Time Recording
  • Contacts
  • Contractor
  • Communication
  • Comments

Other pages can be accessed using links to the previously existing user interface. For more information, see Tips and Considerations.

Tips And Considerations

When users click the Plan Review or Attachments links in the navigation panel on the left, the pages that open continue to appear in the classic user interface and are not available in the Redwood Experience at this time. The Projects link is not available in the navigation panel. The links to View and Update Inspection Dependencies in the permit details also take the user to the classic user interface.
