Redwood Experience Agency Home Page

To align with our move to building Oracle Permitting and Licensing using Visual Builder Studio toolset, a new home page has been added to Redwood Experience pages. When agency staff click on the home icon from any Redwood Experience page,  they are taken to the new agency home page. From here they can navigate to the Agency Springboard, listed as the first tile on the page, or they can use any other tiles to navigate directly to the intended page.

This home page will eventually replace the Agency Springboard once all pages in Permitting and Licensing move to the Redwood Experience. However, at this time, this home page will only be accessible through the home icon on a Redwood Experience page.

Depending on agency staff role and access, there may be other tabs for Oracle products owned by your agency. When agency staff select the home icon they are taken to the "Me" tab. This tab is their personalized tab where they can scroll through the tabs to find Permitting and Licensing. On the Permitting and Licensing they can see tiles they can use to navigate to where they want to go. 

The new Redwood Experience Agency Home Page aligns Oracle Permitting and Licensing with all other Oracle products your agency may license with the same streamlined experience. 

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Multiple Offerings  No Longer Optional From: Update 26B

This feature is delivered via Functional Setup Manager but you can turn this option off if you do not want to use it.

If you do not want to leverage this home page:

  1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance > Change Opt In Features. 
  2. Click the pencil icon in the System Administration row. 
  3. Clear the Enable New Agency User Home. 

As stated above, depending on your role and access, agency staff may see multiple tabs that they need to scroll through before you find the Permitting and Licensing tab. The system administrator can change the order of the tabs. To change the order of the tabs, see Implementing Applications, "Home Page and Other Basic Setup" on the Oracle Help Center.

Tips And Considerations

The Agency Springboard is still available for use. You can navigate to the Agency Springboard from the agency home page by selecting the Agency Springboard tile. You can also navigate to other pages from the tiles that appear on the home screen.

The agency home page is only accessible from any Redwood Experience page by clicking the home icon in the right hand corner. Selecting the home button from a classic experience page will go to the Agency Springboard.
