Use this dialog to provide users with security access to specifc areas of the data warehouse, for example by Department Name, Legislative Group Name, or Payroll Name. For example, you might want user Ashah to have access to data relating to payroll. You can create users one at a time or upload multiple users from a comma separated value (CSV) file. If you need to update a user’s details, then you must delete the user’s details, then re-create the user.

Remove | Delete the currently selected user account. |
Mass Delete Security Definitions | Delete multiple user accounts for a specific functional area. For example, you might want to delete all user accounts for HR — Payroll List. Click this icon to display the Mass Delete Security Definitions dialog, specify the functional area for which you want to delete user accounts by selecting a value from the Secure by Object drop down list, then click Delete. |

Bulk Upload |
Use this option to display the Bulk Upload dialog, which enables you to specify the name and location of a CSV file containing multiple sets of user account details. The CSV file must be formatted as follows: The first line of the CSV file should be a header row, followed by one or more data rows. The Header can be in any order, but data row values must be placed adjacent to the headers. Header names are read case-insensitive i.e. ACTION, Action or action are interpreted as Action header. The following table describes the required columns in the CSV file:

Note:
When you import the file, the import process ignores the name attribute that is added to the exported CSV. The name attribute in the exported file is included only to help make the data security information in the CSV files easy to understand.
