Accounting Entry Extension
The Accounting Entry Extension allows you to perform accounting distributions per your unique requirements. You can use this extension to create a different set of debits and credits than those derived by the system. When this extension is implemented, the cost processor does not perform any distributions.
Processing
Cost Management calls the accounting entry extension for each transaction. This extension is also called from the standard cost update and scrap costing function in standard costing.
Return Values of Function
When this extension is called, the system determines whether it has been implemented and returns a value accordingly. The return values are as follows:

| The extension was used and distributions were processed accordingly

| 0
| The extension was not used.
