In order to utilize Java Data Cartridges, it is important that you know how to load Java class definitions, about how to call stored procedures, and about context management. For details on these issues, see Chapters 1 and 2 of the Oracle8i Java Stored Procedures Developer's Guide. Information on ODCI classes can also be found in Chapter 14 of this manual.
