Arguments
index
An integer specifying the index of the element.
val
A variable, of one of a number of types, that will receive the value of the specified object.
maxlen
The maximum number of bytes that can be placed in
val
.
Remarks
The length indicated by
maxlen
should include one byte for a null terminator which is automatically added in the last byte of the buffer.
