Required Setups

Design Time
· The Oracle Object Server requires an application that supports OLE Automation such as:

· Visual Basic 4.0/5.0/6.0 (Standard or Professional)

· Excel 5.0/7.0

· Access 2.0/7.0

· Internet Information Server (IIS)

· Delphi

· The Oracle Data Control requires Visual Basic 4.0/5.0/6.0 (Standard or Professional).

· The Oracle Objects for OLE C++ Class Library requires Microsoft Visual C++ Version 2.X or later

· Neither the OLE SDK nor OLE development knowledge is necessary.

Run Time
· For 32-bit platforms, Windows 95 or Windows NT.

· A local or remote Oracle database.

· Oracle networking for connecting to an Oracle database.

· Microsoft OLE 2.0.1 or greater run time files (included with the Oracle Objects for OLE installation).
