Text description of systimestamp

Purpose

The SYSTIMESTAMP function returns the system date, including fractional seconds and time zone of the database. The return type is TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE.

Example

The following example returns the system date:

SELECT SYSTIMESTAMP FROM DUAL;

SYSTIMESTAMP
------------------------------------------------------------------
