This is a text description of porditst.gif, which shows the DIT(Directory Information Tree) structure for Oracle9iAS Portal in the directory. This inverted tree structure is explained in the surrounding text. Graphically, what this diagram shows is as follows: At the top of the inverted directory information tree is the DSE Root. Appended to this root, are "dc=com", "cn=OracleContext", and "cn=oracle internet directory". The "dc=com" container has only one organization container appended to it. On the graphic, that container is labeled "O=MyCompany" where MyCompany would be the name of your organization. The O=MyCompany container has three containers appended to it: "cn=Groups", "cn=Users", "cn=OracleContext". The Groups container contains Portal Groups, Authenticated Users, DBA, Portal Administrators, and Portal Developers (note: these are all groups). The Users container that is appended to the MyCompany container, contains Public users, Portal users, and Portal Administrator users. The OracleContext container that is appended to the MyCompany container contains other Product containers and another container to hold all of the Common information for systems that use the directory. All other subtree structures on this diagram are explained in the surrounding text.
