A query is a request for data from a database. Query Builder enables you to visualize your database tables graphically, so you can make intuitive decisions about what to include in your queries.
With Query Builder, you begin building a new query by selecting the tables from which you want to retrieve data.
In this example, to retrieve a list of employee names, salaries, and department names, you would select the Employee and Department tables.
To include an object in a query, double-click the object name.
