Oracle8i Cache maintains a list of queries that were satisfied by the middle-tier cache (hits) and queries that were routed to the origin database (misses). It provides additional statistics, such as the ratio of hits to misses, transactions per second, and the ratio of data accessed from memory to data accessed from disk. With the easy-to-use, Java-based management interface, you can evaluate whether you are caching the right data or need to cache more or different data.
