When an Intelligent Agent receives an event, it monitors the target for specific event conditions at the intervals specified in the event. When a condition is met, the event is triggered, and the agent notifies the Event Management System on the Management Server. The agent continues to monitor for test conditions after notifying the Management Server, and sends additional messages to the Management Server if there is a change in severity, or another condition is met.
