I right-click the session to disconnect it immediately. Unfortunately, the developer won't know anything has happened until she tries to perform a database operation. We value our relations with our developers, so I refrain from adding insult to injury, and send her a courtesy e-mail message to let her know that the database will be unavailable for the rest of the day. I leave DBA Studio open, because I'll use it again later.
