Enterprise Manager validates job credentials as follows: |
 | If the job is set to override preferred credentials, the credentials entered in the job property sheet are used. |
| Otherwise, Enterprise Manager uses the preferred credentials the administrator set for the target(s). |
| If no preferred credentials have been set, Enterprise Manager uses the administrator's <DEFAULT> credentials for the corresponding service type. |
| If no <DEFAULT> credentials have been set, Enterprise Manager uses empty credentials, and the job may fail if the target requires credentials. |
