In the next step, you select the schemas you wish to evaluate. The purpose of the schema selection is to hide recommendations for schemas that you do not wish to tune at the current time. When you first use the Index Tuning wizard, it is best to select Any Schema, so the wizard provides you with an overall view of the problem areas. You can then focus on specific areas of the database for which you have control.
