If you are using Oracle9i Application Server (9iAS), you can debug using either the Oracle Java Virtual Machine (JVM) debugging protocol or the Sun Java Platform Debugging Architecture (JPDA). Before you start your remote debugging session, you will have to choose which method to use. There are slight differences in the configuration options.
