The Create Baseline wizard allows you to capture the definitions of objects at a specific point in time. The captured definitions are stored as baselines—an internal format that can be used by the Compare Database Objects wizard to generate comparisons. You can also use the Create Baseline wizard to reverse-engineer object or schema definitions into DDL (Data Definition Language).
