For more information on Compare Database Objects, see the Standard Management Pack documentation, or click Help in Compare Database Objects.
Compare Database Objects
  • The Compare Database Objects wizard compares two sets of object definitions from databases and/or baselines.
  • The wizard then walks you through a series of wizard screens to refine the comparison.
  • The wizard first lists all the specified database objects in a tree view, and then compares the objects.
  • During comparison, you can click a folder or object to compare it first.
  • The tree view then identifies the results for each object definition.
  • Select an object in the tree view to see comparison details on the right, or click the View Objects button to see a side-by-side display.
  • You can also filter out object definitions from the tree view with the Show/Filter menu.
