Setting Default Schema Options

In the Business Component System Properties Editor, you can use the Schema Default Options page to determine the default choices from which users may select database objects. When working with business component wizards to create entity objects, the user will see the default database object choices displayed in the wizard. They may change the default selections. However, limiting the initial choices is particularly useful when your schema defines a large number of database objects.

Select the appropriate checkboxes from the following choices:

Field

Description

Tables

When this checkbox is selected, tables from the selected schema are included in the Select object list.

Views

When this checkbox is selected, views from the selected schema are included in the Select object list.

Synonyms

When this checkbox is selected, synonyms from the selected schema are included in the Select object list

Snapshots

When this checkbox is selected, snapshots from the selected schema are displayed in the Select object list.
