By default, the Tester silences debug output. If you wish to see business components framework debug tracing output in the message view while running the Tester, then:
To launch the Tester, right-click the application module you want to test and select Test....
Provide appropriate connection information in the Connect dialog, and click Connect.
Select the node representing your application module at the root of the Tester tree and choose Properties... from the right-mouse menu.
In the Application Module Properties dialog that appears, set the jbo.debugoutput property to the string value:
console to enable tracing to the message view
silent to silence the output
