| The Navigator |
- The Navigator organizes nodes, services, and objects in hierarchies of folders.
- You use the Discovery wizard to discover nodes and the services installed
on those nodes, and add them to the Navigator tree.
- The Navigator displays a parent folder for each type of
target node or service that has been discovered.
- When you expand a target,
you see a nested list of folders
and objects that you can usually expand further.
- You can administer targets
and their objects in the Navigator, or use
an integrated DBA tool.
- The Groups folder contains
user-defined groups of
targets that can also be displayed in the Group pane.
- Use the Split View command to display the selected folder and any child folders on a separate tabbed page.
