		Creating Events The Event Management System uses Intelligent Agents to monitor target nodes and services, and notifies administrators when problem conditions occur. You can monitor more than one target at the same time. Each event consists of one or more tests, which vary depending on the type of target. Most tests are further defined by setting threshold parameters. You can assign permissions to other administrators so they can view or edit an event, or be notified when it occurs. The Notification Schedule highlights times when one or more administrators are scheduled for notification. When you register an event, the event is passed to the Management Server, and then to the Intelligent Agent associated with the target.
