Security |
- To perform a task using Enterprise Manager, you must
have the appropriate privileges on the target service.
- To administer remote databases as SYSDBA or
SYSOPER, you must also set up a database password file
and modify the host initialization file.
- After you set up preferred credentials, you log in once to start the
Console and are then automatically logged in to targets as needed.
- Enterprise Manager uses default credentials if specific credentials are not available.
- Each Enterprise Manager administrator must have an account in a repository which is accessed through a Management Server.
- All communication between Intelligent Agents and Management Servers can be encrypted by using Oracle Advanced Security.
