Oracle Application Server Portal is a complete solution for building, deploying, and maintaining self-service, integrated EIPs. Employees, partners, and suppliers can connect to the information that they need and they can tailor it to the way they like to work. A customized portal page can present information from many different providers, including any Web page, application, business intelligence report, syndicated content feed, or hosted software service. It can include both enterprise search and directory lookup fields. A portal page consists of multiple portlets. A portlet is a region of the portal page that provides dynamic access to any Web-based resource.
