This figure shows a J2EE and Web Cache middle-tier that uses an existing database Repository with Identity Management. The Identity Management setup consists of the following services:

Oracle Internet Directory
Oracle Directory Integration and Provisioning
Oracle Delegated Administrative Services
OracleAS Single Sign-On
OracleAS Certificate Authority

The Identity Management setup communicates with a Metadata Repository. The J2EE and Web Cache middle-tier communicates directly with a separate existing database and with the Identity Management Services.
