This figure provides an overview of incoming messages from a Remote FTP Server and a Local File System to OracleAS InterConnect. The components mentioned in this figure are described throughout this guide.

A box labeled the OracleAS InterConnect Adapter for FTP sits in the middle of the figure. There are three smaller boxes inside this box:

The box on the left is labeled common transport and contains two smaller boxes: FTP Sender and FTP Receiver.
The box in the middle is labeled Bridge, and includes one smaller box: D3L (Processor).
The box on the right is labeled Agent.

The text OracleAS InterConnect Application View Messages spans both the Bridge and Agent boxes.

On the left side of the figure are two boxes: Remote FTP Server and Local File System. In addition, there is a box between these and the OracleAS InterConnect Adapter for FTP box labeled Local Firewall/Proxy.

The FTP Sender box inside the common transport box includes two arrows: one pointing to the Remote FTP Server box that goes over the Local Firewall/proxy box and one pointing to the Local File Server box.

The Bridge box includes an arrow that points from the D3L (Processor) to the FTP Sender box.

The Bridge and Agent boxes both include arrows pointing down to a box labeled OracleInterConnect Runtime Logs/Traces. This box is outside the box labeled the OracleAS InterConnect Adapter for FTP.
