This figure provides an overview of incoming messages from an HTTP client to OracleAS InterConnect. The components mentioned in this figure are described throughout this guide.

A box labeled the OracleAS InterConnect Technology Adapter for HTTP sits in the middle of the figure. There are three smaller boxes inside this box:

On the left side of the figure is a computer labeled HTTP client. The HTTP client includes an arrow labeled HTTP request pointing through a local firewall/proxy and into a server labeled Web Server/Servlet Container.

The server labeled Web Server/Servlet Container includes an arrow that points to the HTTP Receiver box inside the Common Transport box. The arrow includes the words RMI Method Invocation.

The HTTP Receiver box inside the Common Transport box includes an arrow pointing to the D3L (processor) box inside the Bridge box. The Bridge box includes an arrow that points to the Agent box. The wording below this arrow says OracleAS InterConnect Application View Messages.

The Bridge and Agent boxes both include arrows pointing down to a database labeled OracleAS InterConnect Runtime Logs/Traces. This database is outside the box labeled the OracleAS InterConnect Technology Adapter for HTTP.

The Agent box includes an arrow that points to a box labeled Common View Messages on the right side of the figure. This box is outside the box labeled the OracleAS InterConnect Technology Adapter for HTTP.

Immediately below the Common View Messages box is a database labeled Runtime Repository. The Runtime Repository box includes an arrow that points to the Bridge box. The Runtime Repository is also outside the box labeled the OracleAS InterConnect Technology Adapter for HTTP.
