This is a description of the illustration clpprp2.gif.

This illustration shows the middle third of the attributes page for the Wireless Web Clipping application.

The following section heading is displayed:

Select the Clipping Customizable Parameters

If the Wireless Service Administrator went through form-based submission while clipping content for the Wireless Web Clipping application, then the Wireless Service Administrator can choose which parameters of which URL can be used as Web clipping parameters. This option lets the Wireless Service Administrator select one or more parameters, making them customizable, and for each parameter selected, edit the display name and default input value. When the Wireless Service Administrator selects this option, it lets wireless application users view the results by showing them the parameter input values.

A table containing the following columns is displayed:

Index - an index value identifying each row in the table containing a URL.

URL - the actual URL visited.

Parameters - any parameters that are part of form-based submission in the URL. A drop-down combo box lets you select one or more.

Customizable - permission to customize parameters in form-based submission in each URL. Do not make the user name and password fields into parameters that could be customized for Web sites that use form-based submission login. See the help topic Editing Wireless Web Clipping Application Attributes and Customizing Parameters in Wireless Help for more information.

Display Name - the name that a wireless application user will see for each selected parameter in form-based submission that is allowed to be customized. Do not delete this value or leave this field empty.

Default Value - the input value that is displayed by default for each selected parameter in form-based submission. Do not delete this value or leave this field empty.

See the help topic Editing Wireless Web Clipping Application Attributes and Customizing Parameters in Wireless Help for more information.

After editing the attributes page, the Wireless Service Administrator clicks OK to save the Wireless attributes, and returns to the Applications Browse Folders Master page.
