This figure shows the tools that are used to manage the Oracle Real-Time Collaboration system. imtctl is used to administer Oracle Real-Time Collaboration components. With imtctl, you can perform the following action:

• configuration
• diagnostic testing
• starting/stopping/restarting the system
• troubleshooting
• real-time monitoring

Oracle Enterprise Manager is mainly used to administer components that are not part of Oracle Real-Time Collaboration. Through some Real-Time Collaboration interfaces, however, you can use Oracle Enterprise Manager to monitor Oracle Web Conferencing, which can then be used for alert management, uptime reports, and historical data.
